Eun-hye took in a deep breath, popping an eye open observing the scenery around her. Everything looked absolutely the same, although it was getting later in the evening, although it didn't bother her much, only reminding her that she would need an escort back to her home. Letting out her breath slowly she opened her other eye taking a moment to rest after a quite long meditation session. Deciding to stay a little while longer before heading back home, she sat up on her knees, adjusting the layers of her hanbok around her. Taking another look around, a small smile made it's way on her face. The pavilion was absolutely breathtaking. Tall trees and bushes of flowers surrounded the artificial island, the sweet smell from them danced under her nose gently. She could spend her whole life here and she couldn't be happier. While looking around the pavilion, she noticed someone else, doing a small double take, she realized it was just Pak Jun-Seo, reading one of the many scrolls from the palace study. Letting out a sigh, she rested her head on her hand, a small frown forming on her face and her eyebrows furrowing in frustration while she watched him from afar. The Confucian lifestyle that she lived and the rest of Kingdom lived forbade her from learning how to read or write, herself almost completely illiterate except for the few words she knew. She continued to watch him read, her mind drifting off somewhere else. Maybe someday, in the future things will be different and she could learn how to. "Yes, someday." she thought to herself.

Jun-seo had been reading in the pavilion, a good place to go if you wanted privacy, when he noticed some movement out of the corner of his eye. When he looked over he caught sight of Pak Eun-hye. She appeared to be just wondering around. He hadn't been aware that she was here before this moment, but she was graceful. Women were such odd creatures.
"Pak?" He called over to her. "Pak? What are you up to today? I wouldn't have pegged you as being someone to just sit around like me."

Eun-hye sat up straight, blinking a bit as she was quite surprised at the forwardness of his question, her lips parting slightly. Turning her head down a bit to avoid his gaze she spoke up quietly. "I--" She begun, clutching the fabric of her chima tightly, clearly nervous. Taking a moment to compose herself, she then took a deep breath, bending down at the waist in a low bow to him before sitting up correctly, looking at him in the eyes, a small smile on her lips.
"It's nice to run into you again, Pak. Have you been well? I was meditating on the island for a while, but I was just about to go back to the temple so I can be out of your way and you can concentrate on your reading." She said before slowly getting up and brushing off her hanbok, before beginning to make her way to the bridge leading towards the palace grounds.

"Well I've been doing pretty well and--" he watched her start to walk away from the conversation. She probably didn't want to be seen talking to a man, much less him. "Hey, Pak... Do you want me to read to you?" When he had been overhearing some maids gossip he caught wind that they said she would have liked to read the scrolls, but since she couldn't she never did.
